Below you can find the list with our background screening services, grouped into 6 areas, together with a short description for each of them in order to have an overview of what they entail.
Verifying the period and specialization of the studies mentioned in the CV (BSA, MSA, PHD), by directly contacting the issuing entities and comparing the claims from the CV and diplomas with the institution's records. Copies of the diplomas are required.
✓ Trainings and certifications
Verifying the diploma acquired during trainings/courses by requesting direct confirmation from the institutions holding them. Copies of the diplomas are required.
Verifying the period and role mentioned in the candidate’s CV by directly contacting the former employers, usually the HR department.
Key contacts from the former employers - manager, peer or a subordinate are interviewed and the information collected can be customized to the client’s need. Direct contacts recommended by the HR department are used and just in specific cases are necessary contact persons from the candidate.
Verifying the period and role mentioned in the candidate’s CV by directly contacting the organizations.
✓ Membership of professional bodies
Contacting directly the professional organization or other communities that the candidate claims to be a member of in order to verify the membership.
✓ Legal search
Searching on closed and ongoing law suits the candidate might be involved in, since 2005, regarding the professional background.
✓ Criminal record
Based on the information provided by the issuing authority the authenticity of the candidate’s criminal record is checked. The criminal record is required from the candidate.
✓ Global Sanctions and International Watch Lists
Verifying any records of the candidate’s within an international database, regarding the professional background.
✓ Multi Drug Test
Testing the presence of illegal drugs, such as: Amphetamines; Barbiturates; Benzodiazepines; Cocaine; Cannabis; Methadone; Opioids; Phencyclidine.
✓ Media presence
The candidate’s name is searched on the web (various browsers, forums, blogs, online newspapers etc.). Results can include aspects relevant for the professional profile of the candidate and information that can harm the candidate’s or a future employer’s image.
✓ Social media activity
The candidate’s name is searched on several social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Google+). Results can include mismatches between the information from the candidate’s CV and the profiles and information that can harm the candidate’s or a future employer’s image.
✓ Association in other companies
Verifying if the candidate is a shareholder or administrator in companies registered in Romania.
✓ Registerred office on the candidate’s address
Verifying if the candidate has registered offices of companies on the address mentioned in his documents.
Identifying the overlaps between the candidate’s professional experices and/or his studies to reveal jobs during studies or simultaneous jobs.
✓ Time Gaps
Identifying the time gaps between the candidate’s professional experices and/or his studies to reveal the periods with no activity.
✓ Coherence of the CV
Appraising the coherence and integrity of the CV by analyzing all the elements and information from the CV.
